Why the old models no longer serve
The old model of profit at all costs, is no longer relevant, and frankly hasn’t worked in my view, for some time.
Fewer and fewer are the people who want to join organisations of this ilk, and to give of their own lifeblood to further profit margins alone. The way we do life and work, really makes no sense. We are polluting our home, our food chain, our airways. We are increasingly burned out, lonely, sick. And for what?!
While there are many of us, the world over, who have seen through this fallacy of “success”, there are many that see the fallacy, but simply don’t know how to do life/work any differently.
I feel extremely privileged to work with people in organisations, and in the community, who want to come home to themselves. I have proven tools that allow my clients to increase and better their self-connection, health, relationships. I work with client organisations who want to do more than window-dressing in this space. More and more, I spend my time talking with organisations who really want to move the needle in how they treat their staff, how to create a positive and inclusive culture, and of course, how to further their bottom line, through doing no harm. This duality of presence and long term thinking is where a new paradigm exists, and I love being at the heart of it in the work that I do, and the people that I meet.
As I further my explorations and my re-brand and study, I realise that it’s not just about fixing a broken system. It’s also about creating a new one. One that calls for adult responsibility, inter-generational thinking and joy.
If you would like to step off the treadmill of furthering someone else’s “success” at your own cost, if you would like to get under the hood of what makes a really great organisation for the longer term, then please get in touch.
